The Somerville 3 family project is a complete renovation down to the studs of an 1890’s Queen Anne Victorian. The renovation transforms the space with modern amenities while still retaining the charm of the original design. The resulting apartment units are designed to create living spaces for families and young professionals alike. This renovation refreshes an existing piece of Boston’s history while ensuring it’s functionality for many years into the future.

Phase 1 of this project, completed in the spring of 2021, renovated this three family home to complete one apartment on the first floor. Phase 2 will complete levels 2 and 3 to create a large owner unit. [RE]Architect will design, provide interior design services, and complete the construction. This will also be our first project using hydronic radiant flooring.
