Along with historic preservation, master planning, research and analysis, and accessibility reviews.

As soon as you decide to begin a project, you should start looking for an architect to share your project with!

How do I find the right architect for my project?

You can start by creating a list of architects or find architects that have done work in your area that you like. You may also get recommendations from friends or family who have worked with architects. 

Don't architects add substantial cost to a project?

Having an architect is an additional project cost. However, having an architect can help you save money in many ways throughout your project. An architect can help to determine and stick with your budget and find some of the best workmanship and materials at the best price.

How are architects compensated?

Architects are compensated by an agreed upon percentage of the work that is done. Compensation is typically based on the number of units (apartments/rooms).

The architect will communicate with you to learn about the plot of land, any existing structures, and your wishes for the future project. ​

How long will it take to design and build my project?

This strongly depends on your project! Based on the size and severity of your project, it can last anywhere from two months to a year! Things such as weather delays also play a huge part in your construction timeline.

You will play a strong role in the design process by communicating frequently with your architect and helping to plan the design and build.
