East Boston Upgrade

The Monmouth Residence was a single family renovation of an existing vacant home in East Boston. [RE]Architect worked with a fellow investor to design the best layout for the best value to turn this dingy dirt collector into a shiny new move-in ready home.  The original house was built on an infill lot, so the house is long and narrow. The biggest design challenge was working within the existing footprint to create as much open connection as possible and to find space for a new bathroom on the first floor.
