old littleton rd Renovation
Constructed in the 1770’s out of the “Kings Wood,” the construction of this house out of lumber from trees specifically reserved for King George, was itself an act of colonial defiance in the lead up to the American Revolution. The house sits in Harvard's Historic District, steps away from the town common. RE Architect was called in to save this historic home after some of the 150 year old structure began to degrade, as well as to update the kitchen and great room between the barn and house. The added structure will modernize the antique home while still retaining all the original character of this living piece of history.
